The EGM, which got off to a rowdy start at about 2pm on Saturday in a function hall on the 4th floor of Suntec City Convention Centre, is being attended by some 2,000 members, a number of them who have just registered so that they could vote at the meeting.
The male members, who are associate members, cannot vote but a number of them turned up for the EGM.
